Experienced Line Cook w/ Banquet Experience.
Essential Functions:
- Pre-prepare items required for the workstation according to par sheets or instructions from the executive chef and sous chef.
- Prepare products assigned to his/her workstation during service.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Prepares meats, seafood, vegetables, and other items required for line and special function purposes.
- Carefully follow standard recipes when pre-preparing and preparing all items.
- Uses food preparation equipment according to manufacturers' instructions.
- Cleans workstation and equipment.
- Returns unused food products to proper food storage areas.
- Assists with the preparation of other food products on the serving line as needed.
- Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling procedures.
- Returns soiled food preparation utensils and other small ware items to the proper areas.
Schedule:
- Must be available for a variety of shifts including weekdays, holidays, weekends, and nights.
Education:
- High school or equivalent. (Preferred)
Experience:
- Restaurant experience: 1 year. (Preferred)
- Banquet experience: 1 year. (Preferred)
