Maintenance Technician
REPORTS TO: General Manager
Part-Time
General Summary:
Oversees all mechanical areas of the club facility and the grounds to keep the club functioning at top efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains an ongoing energy management program for the property's HVAC and lighting systems.
- Effectively maintain all building structures and the equipment in them on a preventative and curative basis.
- Ability to perform plumbing, mechanical, and electrical repairs, carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and flooring installation.
- Possess exceptional organizational skills to manage and complete multiple responsibilities and tasks.
- Attention to detail ensuring accuracy and quality control.
- Possess the ability to communicate with fellow team members in a personable, respectable, and professional manner.
- Schedule work orders for all areas of the club and its equipment.
- Coordinates purchasing for parts and items needed for maintenance and general upkeep.
- Takes corrective action as needed.
- Attends staff meetings and coordinates efforts to schedule work activities.
- Oversees daily water checks on swimming pool water and filtering systems for positive health protection.
- Works with General Contractors and coordinates remodeling of various areas of the club.
- Inspect fire protection systems for proper operation and training personnel in their use.
- Design, implement, and maintain a preventative maintenance program for all major mechanical items.
- Maintain a computerized log for all equipment repairs.
